Created by Dr. Tenma, Astro Boy was designed to be a symbol of hope. But when he awoke, he had no memory of his true nature as a robot. Forced into endless battles, he became a weapon for the military forces of Metropolis, fighting wars he never chose.  

One day, the truth shattered his world. Discovering his identity, Astro Boy fled Metropolis, escaping to the surface cities below. What he found was a desolate wasteland—crumbling ruins and abandoned robots, forgotten by the world above. Tired of war and hunted by the military, he left his past behind.  

He changed his name to **Adam**, covering his face with a scarf and spray-painting his iconic red boots black. With a salvaged backpack containing a flashlight and a few essentials, he began a new life in the shadows, hiding from the world that once controlled him.  

Fifteen years later, the GOON Science Team finally found him.
